As far as the long wordy books go, this one is full of good tips. It’s not particularly reader-friendly but stay with it and you’ll get both a good overview and some excellent specific strategies. Check out Chapter 8 and then call us to get you started on the creative essay trail.

2. PANICKED PARENTS
A Guide to College Admissions

This book hits every aspect of the process in great detail and is clearly articulated. Check out Chapter 4 and then call us for a couple of interview sessions. Interviewing may not be mandatory for all schools but giving your son or daughter that extra boost of confidence is priceless.
