She travels around the U.S. speaking to and training high school and college students in the art of mind-mapping and creative brainstorming to develop career and major ideas and then helps them translate those ideas into personal presentation both in person and on paper. She is an expert in connecting with these generations and creating a comfortable and dynamic platform upon which to build ideas and strategies for success. Her young clients love her, their parents admire her for her commitment to their kids and her corporate and non-profit partners value her for her tremendous contribution to their organizations.

What was most missing for him when he transitioned to us at Jo Leonard, LLC., was "really getting to know the students individually, so that I can give them more attention and customized college and career direction. This is my real passion and I'm enjoying that aspect of working for Jo the most." He loves researching schools, and teaching students how to do effective research before they put their Smart List together. He's organized and thorough, and has an assertive but friendly approach when it comes to overseeing student's applications.
As a guidance counselor for South Brunswick Board of Education in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey he advised 260 students regarding academic and social issues, provided college and career counseling to students in grades 9-12, and regularly visited colleges and universities.
Having graduated from Rider University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Ed decided to continue his education at Rutgers University where he received a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology. He has worked on the financial aid process with many families and comes equipped with tremendous resources for his clients.
As a child we all seem to know what we want to be when we grow up, perhaps a rock star, a firefighter, a teacher, or some other honorable profession. Regardless of our chosen occupation, our calling is clear. Somewhere between childhood and graduating college we question our path. Perhaps our interests evolve or our strengths guide us in a new direction. Whatever the reason, this point in our lives is overwhelming and pivotal for many. As the newest member of Jo Leonard LLC, my goal is to leverage my professional experiences and coaching skills to help students embrace this point of inflection in their lives, rather than be overcome by it, and then help them find their direction and meet their goals.
Combining my experience as a university career specialist and a corporate manager at J&J Global Talent Management, focused on emerging leadership development, I am well positioned to provide current job search strategies and general mentorship to a demographic I know and love.
I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial and Management Engineering. Due to my love of learning and aspirations to further develop as a career specialist, I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Human Resource Management at Rutgers University.
